Arrival Procedures
All Bus Riders and Walkers will enter the building using the new main entrance off Rieck Avenue and all car riders will enter on “School Drive”, the old main entrance by the cafeteria.
Todos los pasajeros de autobús y caminantes ingresarán al edificio utilizando la nueva entrada principal localizada en Rieck Avenue y todos los pasajeros de automóviles ingresarán por “School Drive”, anteriormente la entrada principal.
Bus Riders / Pasejeros de Autobús
The Transportation Department will be making bus passes available in the Parent Portal through Infinite Campus the week before school opens. Information regarding where your child should wait for the bus and at what time he/she should be there will be included. Bus students will use the front larger loop, off Rieck Avenue, for arrival and dismissal.
El Departamento de Transporte pondrá a disposición pases de autobús en el Portal para Padres a través de Infinite Campus la semana antes de que comiencen las clases. Se incluirá información sobre dónde debe esperar su hijo el autobús y a qué hora debe estar allí. Los estudiantes de autobús usarán el circuito delantero más grande, en Rieck Ave., para la llegada y salida.
Walkers / Caminantes
If your child/children walk or ride their bike to school, please encourage them to exercise caution when doing so, to be mindful of traffic, and to follow the directions of the crossing guards. Bikes must be secured and locked at the bike rack (located in the courtyard near the bottom of the steps).
Si su hijo o hijos caminan o andan en bicicleta a la escuela, anímelos a tener cuidado al hacerlo, a tener en cuenta el tráfico y a seguir las instrucciones de los guardias de cruce. Las bicicletas deben estar aseguradas con candado en el portabicicletas (ubicado en el patio cerca de la parte inferior de los escalones).
Car Riders / Pasajeros de Automóviles
Car riders use the old main entrance by the cafeteria to enter the building. Parents will travel down “School Drive”, always staying to the left, go around the center loop and drop students off at the edge of the building. Remain in your car and allow the Safety Patrol/Staff to open your door and assist your child. It is important to have your child ready to exit the car. We need to keep the line moving. Please do not block the flow of traffic in the driveways.
