Dr. Brian Robinson

On behalf of all of us at Rieck Avenue School, we are glad that you are visiting our website.

As Rieck Avenue School celebrates another year of learning together, I am proud of our school community - students, staff and family- who work together for our students.. This community of learners is an on-going source of pride for our parents and the community. In addition to our general education students, Rieck Avenue School is the home of four LLD classes, a multiple disabilities class and the elementary bilingual and ESL programs for the Millville Public Schools.  This diverse student population adds to the richness of our school's uniquely close-knit culture.

Rieck Avenue School teachers use the research from "Classroom Instruction that Works" as the foundation for our students' learning.  For the past several years, we have been using an arts-infused approach to many subject areas, using the arts to teach and express what is being learned across the curriculum. We add to that the teaching of skills needed for working in the 21st century, both in the use of technology and traits that make for great employees and co-workers.

The achievement scores of our students put us in rankings with much wealthier schools around New Jersey.  We make use of multiple intervention programs if students are experiencing difficulty, and strive to ensure that all students are successfully meeting expectations for her or his age and grade level.

Vice Principal
Danette Boone

It is my pleasure to serve as the Vice Principal at Rieck Avenue School. We, the Rieck Avenue Family, would like to thank you for your support to our students, parents and dedication to the entire community.

We know that when good behavior and good teaching come together our students will excel academically and socially. As an instructional leader, my goal is to instill the love of learning, set high expectation, discipline with dignity and met the needs of all learners.

Our aim is to develop respect, responsibility, helpfulness and safety. Parents are an important part of the vision and the staff wants to share this positive message with our families. Let us continue to make a difference. Remember, I am always willing to help make Rieck Avenue School the best experience ever. "There is no magic to achievement. It's really about hard work, choices and persistence."

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards!
